Welcome to Our Blog!

Welcome Blog ImageCamas Creek Saddle Tree & Cinch is excited to announce the launch of our new blog! We love what we do, and we’re excited to share information about our products and business with all of you. Be sure to check back regularly for new updates about our business along with interesting and informative blog posts about all things related to saddles, cinches, and equines!

We are a small, family-owned business operating out of Dubois, Idaho, specializing in the creation of custom saddle trees and 100-percent mohair cinches. Here’s an introduction to us:

Joe

Joe grew up around horses and later got into ranching, working on various ranches as a cowboy. He was also a supervisor for a hospital pen in a feedlot for a while. He has always been interested in saddles and leatherwork, and he recently completed an apprenticeship for saddle tree making. He has a lovely wife, Ashley, and three beautiful children they are raising to love horses and livestock, just like them.

Ashley

Ashley begged and pleaded for a horse ever since she was a little girl, and she finally got one in her sophomore year of high school. She was able to learn English riding skills under some amazing trainers who helped her with jumping and flat work. She has done some work at race tracks where she learned proper feeding programs for working horses and how to doctor various equine injuries. Her husband, Joe, helped her fall in love with the western lifestyle as well. She has also taught herself the art of tying 100-percent mohair cinches, and she absolutely loves it!
